WHEW!
man tuesday night shows are the best! actually the best show we ever played, it sucks that there was only 3 people there and we knew 2 so you know, but can't blame anyone. or can we? so the show tonight at the Mew's was really good, the energy was high, the songs sounded great, and we didnt mess up. We played through the 2 movements of "BattleStar" so that was really brutle! Now the big thing is to get EVERYONE to come to the May 7th show at the House Of Bricks! COME ONE COME ALL! it's a saturday night, 5 bucks and its at 10 pm. So May 7th, HOB, 10pm, $5! And then on May 21st, there is perhaps the most anticipated concert of the year! ZPS will be putting together a concert featuring Antigenre, Deimos, Dark Mirror and the brand spanking new band PISSED MISSILE. So that will start around 6 or 7. More details later! EVERYONE GO TO http://www.battleofthebands.com/zpsia and listen to new songs OR www.myspace.com/zps and hear the first take of battlestar! and as always www.zpsmusic.com is a great place to check up on your favorite band! | | Thursday, March 24th, 2005 | | 2:48 pm |

The Last Day Of Recording
Well today was the last day, a long day. We had to mix all the tracks which is basically Marty going in a making them sound better, which they do! But the bad news is that we didnt get it all down, there is more to be done, so hopefully by tomorrow there will be the new songs. Sorry about the one day delay! | | Tuesday, March 22nd, 2005 | | 11:43 pm |
Recording Day #2
today was a good day. Alex and I were ready to go, but someone slept in and was late to do his recordings! So as we waited we got all of alex's vocals done and then zach finally came and he got his done after a bajillion times. But overall it was a productive day and good times were had, we got some pictures that will be put on the site. Make sure to check in tomorrow to hear the final recordings, you know you want to be the first. -Evan | | Monday, March 21st, 2005 | | 11:49 pm |
Finally Recording
well today was the first day of recording. We started off pretty well and everything just clicked afterward. We got all 3 songs that we planned to do done instrumentally. The songs sound really good, a lot better than the other record. So much we can do in this studio. Hopefully we will be done with the 3 new songs on wednesday and they will be ready for download on purevolume site. Well thats all that happened today, also we have great producers Marty and Brian, these guys are pretty cool. Well stay tuned tomorrow to hear how the vocals went down... -Evan | | Sunday, February 27th, 2005 | | 12:15 am |

The date: February 5th, Time: 5:45pm Where: The House Of Bricks, so we played there on Saturday but funny story is that we started at 5:45 and told everyone else 6, so halfway through our set people started walking in, which is fine cas they still hear the music whether they want to know or not, and we are fine to playing to like 5 people if we have to. But after was Beside Nothing, they rock it with just a different taste then us. Following Beside Nothing was our good friends Slaughterhouse 6, who as always puts on a good show and then Valet played and an evening was enjoyed by all. Side note, ZPS taped some of that show and then with some of the tape from our upcoming 16th show we are planning on making a LIVE DVD! with extras, like an inside look of how a zps song is made? or how we manage not to kill each other. So look out for that, this is our next project besides constantly writing new songs, and finding a new place to record. Check out www.purevolume.com/zps for music. Sorry for never updating this site. -Evan | | Sunday, October 3rd, 2004 | | 10:45 pm |

Well this is the first entry, right after a gig. We played at the roadhouse 69 tonight and it was pretty fun. Alex was a little sick and I wasnt feeling to hot anyways, we played alright and now we have another place to play at all the time just like House of Bricks and Vaudeville Mews. We played with some great bands Thank-U-Donny who we have played with before and they kick ass, and Anything But Joey played with us, who are pretty good and have their name out there, so check them out at www.anythingbutjoey.com so we will check up with you later..new songs are a brewing! -Evan |
